Nick Dunn Launches Pre Season Training Camp in Mallorca

After an injury plagued season Nick Dunn; current World Age Group Triathlon Champion and 2009 British Triathlon Federation Age Group Triathlete of the Year has been frustrated by not being able to fully compete. Not one to rest on his laurels, Nick has used this time convalescing to devise a new, unique and comprehensive triathlon and cycling training camp.

Tri Camp Mallorca is in a luxury townhouse based in Pollensa which is situated on the doorstep of some of the most visually breathtaking and highly challenging mountain routes in Europe. These routes are the reason why Mallorca plays host to some 80,000 cyclists a year. The beautiful surroundings and close proximity to beaches make Pollensa the perfect location for swimming, running and cycling.

Nick has years of triathlon coaching and personal training experience working with all ages and abilities. Nick, himself, is a world champion and multi-award winning triathlete who together with fellow professional and elite triathlete Tom Curtis make up the coaching team. Completing the team is Nick's wife Claire Dunn, who has years of experience catering for triathletes, providing nutritious meals for improved performance and fuelling.
Nick and Tom have carefully produced a programme of activities which caters for all abilities from novices to age group competitors. The schedule of events not only includes bike courses and run routes but also pool based swim analysis, open water practise and expert advice on nutrition, bike care, transition tips, sports massage and core conditioning.

Nick says: "I've been visiting Mallorca for pre season training for the past 5 years, it's now an essential part of my training calendar. Each year I've taken groups of friends out with me but now I want to start passing on my training experience and knowledge of the area to other triathletes too.
Claire is a great cook and has been providing me with the nutrition I need to perform at my best for years. At Tri Camp Mallorca, Claire will cater for all meals which means that our guests just need to worry about how hard they'll push themselves the next day - not the washing up!"

Nick, Claire and Tom would very much like to invite you to join them at Tri Camp Mallorca, which will be the perfect preparation and start to the gruelling 2011 season.
Injuries permitting, Nick still aims to defend his World Champion crown at the ITU Budapest Triathlon this September. Whatever his result, Nick can be guaranteed to pass on his knowledge from this invaluable experience to all Tri Camp Mallorca participants.
