Product Review: The New Zoggs Predator Flex

Zoggs have always produced high quality goggles but have now taken it one step further with the release of the new Predator Flex.
On first appearance the mirror lensed Predator Flex look quite futuristic but otherwise they look like a normal pair of goggles, it's only once you start using them you realise just how advanced they really are.

Technical Features: 9/10
The goggles feature many technical aspects from an excellent anti-fog system which works in all conditions, UV protection for outdoor use to the excellent panoramic visibility due to the wide curved lenses.
The strap adjustment is excellent, very quick and simple and can be done easily whilst in the water if required.
However why these goggles score so highly is that they flex in 4 places meaning they not only flex where you would expect (at the sides and horizontally around the nose) but also vertically around the bridge of the nose resulting in a very good fit around the entire eye.
Finally, the Predator Flex also have a split head strap meaning added security in the boxing match at the start of every open water triathlon!
Price: 8/10
Depending on the model you choose the price varies from around £18-£21 so there are definitely cheaper goggles available but for us compared to goggles of a similar price range these really do stand out as great value.

Styling: 9/10
The Predator Flex come in 5 unique styles (right) including male and female varieties and a choice of either mirrored and non-mirrored lenses meaning there is something for everyone.
Durability: 8/10
We have been testing these regularly for over 2 months and so far there has been no fading, cracking or any visible change to how they originally arrived.
Overall: 9/10
We have tested the Predator Flex in a variety of conditions including both open water and pools for both long swims and quick dips and to date have had no problems with fogging or leaking. They offer excellent light reduction in bright sun allowing for better sighting in open water and once adjusted they stayed firmly in place with no need for re-adjustment between sessions.
