Toshiba Windsor Triathlon half full already
Created On: 17 August 2012
Less than a week after the Toshiba Windsor Triathlon opened to
the general public, more than 1300 places have already been snapped
up.
The 2013 Toshiba Windsor Triathlon, now in its 23rd
year, looks set to better than ever. Earlier this month,
Toshiba UK re-signed as title sponsor for the
triathlon. Matt McDowell, Marketing Director of Toshiba
UK commented "The Windsor Triathlon is one of the most popular
triathlons in the UK with places filling in a matter of days. With
the swim in the Thames in the shadows of Windsor Castle, the bike
course taking in Windsor Great Park and the run taking in Windsor
Castle and its historic town it truly is a memorable triathlon to
take part in. We are delighted to be able to extend our
association with Human Race for another year".
Brand new for 2013 Toshiba Windsor Triathlon has a new Gold
Charity partner with Scope coming on board with a 2-year deal.
Debbie Bines, Head of Events at Scope said, "Our vision is a
world where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone
else, it's no small challenge. We're really pleased to have the
chance to build a dedicated team for this fantastic and well
organised event, which will raise vital funds for our work to
support disabled people."
Nick Rusling, CEO of Human Race added, "Over the past two years,
Toshiba have added to the event experience to make it even better
for the competitors taking part. We are thrilled to have them
on board again and look forward to welcoming Scope as our new Gold
charity partner."
The Toshiba Windsor Triathlon will be held on 16th
June 2013.
