Club La Santa has announced the launch of the first Ironman 70.3
Lanzarote challenge due to take place at the Lanzarote resort on 10
November.
The Ironman 70.3 challenge is the first of its kind to be held
at Club La Santa and covers half the normal Ironman distance.
The race will include a 1.9km swim, 90km bike ride and a 21.1km
half marathon race to the finish.
Starting in the Club La Santa lagoon the race will take in the
resort and its surroundings before finishing at the Club La Santa
stadium.
Head of Club La Santa UK, Claire Dyson said: "The half
Ironman distance is becoming more and more popular and we expect
this event to sell out quickly. If you are an Ironman novice this
event is perfect as you get the chance to sample the challenge
before plunging into a full Ironman competition."

race. These include the Ironman 70.3 Training Camp with former
Welsh National Triathlon team coach Phil Price, the Robin Brew 70.3

2012.
Club La Santa, the world's number ONE sports and active holiday
resort is also an official organiser of the Ironman Lanzarote due
