World Triathlon Champion Helen Jenkins today toured the familiar sights of Hyde Park and  Buckingham Palace that will witness Helen's attempt to win a Gold Medal in the London 2012 Olympic Games.  Jenkins has flown around the world with British Airways to find the ideal training and racing regime so she is ready to tackle the Olympic course in London this August.

Jenkins looked round the course, which is a favourite destination for tourists, in more comfort than usual using various modes of transport including a boat on the Serpentine and a London taxi.  The two-time World Champion, who has experienced victory in Hyde Park, is hoping to add an Olympic title to her name and believes her international training and competing schedule is the perfect balance to put her in poll position.

Helen Jenkins said, "Although this is a home Games athletes need to fly around the world to find the best training and competition environments to suit them, for instance next month I'm flying to Sydney.  So in fact I've taken a very long journey across thousands of miles to get to London and I'm grateful to the support from British Airways who have flown me to so many places."
