Registration for the 2012 Tri Together Triathlon is now open

Following the success of the first annual Tri Together Triathlon in September 2011, the event will take place once again on Sunday 19 August 2012.

Shortlisted for the British Triathlon Event of the Year 2011 and Event Quality Mark Level 1 Accredited, Tri Together will return to Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in South London, where the course remains largely unchanged. Participants will start with an indoor 400m swim (no need to hire a wetsuit!), followed by a 15km cycle through the leafy surrounds of Crystal Palace Park and a 5k run finishing in the iconic Jubilee Stadium. 

The competitive distance of the course means that it's perfect for everyone from the seasoned triathlete to the complete novice. 

So if you secretly wish that you could do one but are too afraid to give it a go, then this is the event for you! Over 80% of participants in the 2011 event were beginners, so you won't be alone.

Entry starts at just £32, one of the lowest entry fees on the triathlon market. You can take part on your own or share the challenge in a relay team.

Tri Together is organised by the charity Leonard Cheshire Disability, so we ask that you fundraise a minimum of £220 per person; it's worth it! Your fundraising will help us to continue to provide life changing opportunities for disabled people in the UK. If you're worried about the fundraising, don't be! You'll be sent a welcome pack with lots of training and fundraising advice, and you have until 4 weeks after the event to send us the money you raise.

Under 17's Race
For 2012 we are hoping to launch a Junior Triathlon race.  Details will be
