Rapha Condor Sharp riders confirmed for Cycle Show
Created On: 26 September 2011
If there weren't already enough stars at next week's Cycle Show,
Condor Cycles have now confirmed that six of the Rapha Condor Sharp
professional riders will be on their stand at the NEC in Birmingham
next week, 30 September to 2 October.
The team performed outstandingly well in the recent Tour of
Britain, claiming much of the limelight when Kristain House got
into a breakaway of two riders on the final criterium stage in
London. Jon Tiernan-Locke was super-impressive winning the King of
the Mountains jersey and finishing fifth overall, despite a
puncture on the final stage. He was the top British General
Classification rider in the final standings.
The Tour of Britain was the last race for the 2011 Rapha Condor
Sharp team and it was the icing on the cake of a very successful
season that saw them take 44 victories at home and abroad. Now you
can talk climbing, going solo and riding the hand-crafted Condor
Leggero with them at the Show.
Graham Briggs and Dean Downing will be on the stand (E11)
between 1-3pm Thursday (trade day) 29 September and Friday 30
September. Kristian House, Jon Tiernan-Locke, Ed Clancy and Andrew
Tennant will be on the stand between 1-2.30pm on Saturday 1st
October.
You can also catch up with the boss, Directeur Sportif, John
Herety, who will be on the stand on Thursday and Saturday.
The ticket hotline number is 0844 8480132 and you can book
online at http://www.cycleshow.co.uk. Advance tickets
bought online or through the ticket hotline are priced at just
£12.50* for adults, £10.50 for concessions, £6.50 for children and
entry is free to under 5s. Special offers are available for advance
group bookings.
*£15.50 on the day
