The Morecambe Mile

5 days to go to the first Morecambe Mile Open Water Swim event.
Starting from Morecambe and Heysham Yacht Club, in front of
Morecambe Town Hall, the event loops in the bay at high tide. This
is the first time the event has been organised and with the backing
of local groups and Morecambe Council, it's set to become a regular
on the circuit!
The event has already attracted real interest from
both locals and regular open water swimmers and the current
entry list demonstrates the growing popularity of open water
swimming throughout the North West.
