DB Max's summer of multisport hits top speed in August

DB Max's summer of multisport is hitting top speed in August with a very busy event calendar.

The newly launched series of Tuesday evening open water aquathlons will continue this month, with two more events in the idyllic market town of Bradford on Avon. There's also a brand new BIG Swim event at Vobster Quay near Radstock on August 21^st. The Vobster event will include a choice of swim distances as well as an aquathlon event and an open water swim clinic, all based at this amazing flooded quarry - with some of the best open water swimming in the UK.

Both events can be entered online at www.dbmax.co.uk/ and include chip timing and instant results. There'll also be some great series prizes and a post-race BBQ for the evening aquathlon series.

DB Max BIG Swim Evening Aquathlon Series (August 2010) - Bradford on Avon Country Park

• Tuesday 17^th August - Race 3
• Tuesday 31^st August - Race 4

Both involve a 750m river swim/5k fast, flat and marked run (also a stand-alone 5k run series).

DB Max BIG Swim 2010 - Vobster Quay Dive Centre, nr Radstock

• Sunday 21^st August - 750m, 1500m or 3.8k swim (also aquathlon event and an open-water swim clinic).

• The MOTI Mizuno Portishead Triathlon (400/20/5k) - August 22^nd
